It is with great delight that we welcome you to the 19th Annual Meeting of the Taiwanese Society for Investigative Dermatology (TSID) in Taipei.
The main theme of this meeting is “Together Bright Future”, indicating that we collaborate and work together for better scientific research. We are expecting many experts from America, Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world to attend this event. The organizing committee has prepared a series of academic and social activities. Under the leadership of the Conference Chair, Prof. Tak-Wah Wong, the meeting program will highlight evolving understandings of skin biology and dermatological sciences. The meeting will provide a platform for researchers and clinicians who are interested in regenerative medicine, stem cells, immunology and cancer biology to discuss the updated scientific discoveries.
Besides mind-stimulating scientific sessions during the meeting, the city of Taipei is known for its creative and friendly atmosphere, natural and scenic areas, as well as cultural and historic attractions.
We welcome you to the multicultural and cosmopolitan city, to a unique event for scientific communication, knowledge sharing, and creation/renewal of friendships for all those dedicated to dermatological research.

Dear colleagues, friends, and distinguished guests,
It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 19th Annual Meeting of the Taiwanese Society for Investigative Dermatology (TSID), taking place on November 8–9, 2025, in the vibrant city of Taipei, Taiwan.
This year’s theme, “Together, a Brighter Future,” reflects our shared commitment to advancing dermatological science through collaboration, innovation, and mutual support. As we gather from around the world—welcoming esteemed speakers and participants from the United States, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and beyond—we celebrate not only the diversity of our expertise but also the unity of our vision.
During the conference, we will explore cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, and forge new partnerships that will shape the future of investigative dermatology. Whether you are a seasoned researcher, a rising clinician-scientist, or a passionate student, your presence enriches this meeting and strengthens our collective pursuit of excellence. To promote research excellence in Taiwan, we will host an oral presentation competition on Sunday afternoon, November 9, featuring local presenters. The top three winners will receive certificates and prizes from TSID. You are warmly invited to attend and help evaluate the presentations.
I invite you to engage fully, challenge assumptions, and connect deeply—with both science and one another. May this meeting inspire new discoveries, lasting friendships, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Welcome to Taipei. Welcome to TSID 2025.
Warm regards,
Tak-Wah Wong, M.D., Ph.D.
